Watching the (unintentional) comedy film
“Jesus of Nazareth,” with the very pale and blue-eyed Robert Powell in the title role, along with an all-star cast that includes Laurence Olivier, Christopher Plummer, Anne Bancroft, Michael York, Ian McShane, Ernest Borgnine, Claudia Cardinale Ian Holm …

It’s an epic disaster with embarrassing dialog and I can’t look away🫣

I remember being dragged to a cinema with a church youth group to see this when it came out. I don't remember much about it, because the first Star Wars movie came out the same year, and it pretty much wiped out any other movie I saw that year, in my brain.

Yeah, that movie is a mess. They had that man looking like a member of Led Zepplin. 😆 Killer cast, though

EXACTLY! It’s in the same category as “Mommie Dearest:” entertaining for being so incredibly terrible that I can’t believe it ever got released.

Your Led Zeppelin comment is hilarious 🤣. It was the 1970s after all! 💁🏻‍♀️
