I admire a person who can admit when they’re wrong. I’ve met women who can do it. I’ve met few men who can. My husband is a sweet person 99% of the time. One of his only flaws is his inability to admit when he’s done something wrong. He finds it impossible to apologize. Fortunately I’m forgiving.

I loathe conflict and confrontation. I’ve always been the peacemaker of my family and my friends. I’m early Gen X. I don’t know if it’s us and Baby boomers, but my 2 daughters certainly aren’t. They’re millennials. My 2 sons aren’t quick to apologize either. I is a millennial, 1 Generation Z.

Interesting. My Mom is still alive. She’s an amazing woman, but she probably shouldn’t have ever had children. She had 4. She loved us as much as she was capable, but in many ways she was more like a big sister. She’s very narcissistic, but I wouldn’t call her malevolent. It was more benign neglect.
