After the #trumpindictment arraignment, in response to the zero conditions placed on Trump, the pundits all say "it was expected."

If you've given up on the Justice System, yes, it was expected. We should stop giving judges etc., a pass. Trump should have had conditions placed on him at

the very least, and seriously he should have been detained pending trial. The precedent exists for detaining defendants for crimes of this magnitude.

By not expecting anything, we're allowing them to take advantage of our low expectations. If we are to hold criminals accountable, we also need to

hold prosecutors and judges accountable first. If prosecutors don't even ASK for conditions, they are sending a signal that the crimes isn't all that serious.

And if we don't hold prosecutors and judges accountable, WE are sending a signal that we're ok with our multi-tiered justice system.

The public, the pundits, and the journalists should be vociferously condemning the kid glove treatment that Trump has been receiving. If we don't, what possible incentive do prosecutors and judges have to do the right thing?

If America is to have one set of laws, we need to act like it. We need to demand it.

Trump's former job title is irrelevant. He should be treated no differently than any other national security threat.
