Classic movie #82 : The gay divorcee (1934)
Beautiful comedy film with nice musical numbers, a funny story, romance, misunderstandings, and a superb cast, great supporting actors, and Rogers and Astaire dancing their way to a happy ending 👱🏻‍♀️👨🏼‍🦱💘

I like all Rogers-Astaire movies and my fav is Follow the Fleet. It's set in San Francisco before WW2, and the "best friend" role is Harriet Hilliard, who came to fame later when she married Ozzie Nelson. Now I think I'll have to find some fun movies to watch this weekend!

Happy Saturday greetings, I think "Flying down to Rio" is a fantastic film. It was the only time Ginger had top billing over Fred. I think "The Carioca" is my favorite production number and I am a big Busby Berkeley fan. May the rest of your day be peaceful.
