It's also increasing incidence of diabetes. Especially in kids but also in adults.

Yep, she just said it to me. Husband's BIL came down with massive increase in sugar and all his docs are speculating it was covid-related.

I may have missed it, but no vaccination status was given. I have all 5 of my covid shots and I always wear a mask anywhere in a shop and at work. I may see over the course of 5 hours 5 other people wearing a mask.

You kinda had to dig into the original article, this screenshot is what I found on vaccination status (page 586 for Alt Text). I haven't dug into the supplementary tables yet, but I like this study!

My husband's BIL had a sudden sugar spike on bloodwork. All the specialists he has seen are "thinking" it may have related to covid? He actually was hospitalized on a glucose drip. He ate healthy, exercised, no family history. Now, he is completely okay with no further intervention. Very strange.

It has been linked to a bunch of kidney issues so I would not be surprised if it is

It frightening. It's more frightening when you think about how many people don't give a shit about trying to keep everyone safe. I don't see people getting boosters (partially impossible in Europe) nor wearing masks. In fact, when you do wear a mask people assume you currently have Covid.

It's even harder when your spouse is one of them, and I'm trying to keep our disabled daughter that lives with us alive, and not any more disabled than she already is. We've already been infected once.
