That Black women are the world's saviors. That we're strong and can handle any and everything. That our value lies solely in what we can do for others.

We're tired and often unprotected at large and within our own community. We aren't allowed to just be and rest in our full humanity.

What's one misconception about your community/demographic that you'd like to clear up?

What's one thing, above all else, you would like others to walk away knowing.

Please respond by quoting. The information is too important to hide in the comments. I and others will echo.

Blatant racism has caused early deaths of Black people for hundreds of years. We deserve to grow old but white America has no interest in us surviving and striving.
