Here's a thought.

Lay out a precise definition of fascism. The classical standard. Then ask the House to vote to reject it.

How many House Republicans do you suppose would support that resolution.

I think they are just reacting to Bernie making it okay to use the label socialist as a positive. A dangerous situation for the establishment.

I'm sure he was the start of it, or close enough. I'd wager it's more now about setting up ads to rile up their base, who have no clue what the word means.

It'd be fun to see how many would vote against a clear definition of fascism. I'm betting less than 25.

It's everything they stand for.

For the republicans, I agree. My concern is with the number of yays from the blue team...

I can't think of any House Dems offhand who'd reject that kind of resolution.

Did you have anyone specific in mind?

Sorry, I was referring to the resolution in the house the other day.

I do hope they all would reject Facism.

Ah. 122 Dems voted in favor of the resolution. 86 against, and 14 "present."

Yes, that would be the one.

The way it was worded, I'm not surprised at the breakdown. It was likely, at least a little, a ploy to split the Dems and maybe create some wedges to use later.

Along with the ads for GOP candidates running against progressives, of course.
