Finally, Blessed silence! Turns out it was also the carbon monoxide alarm that needed a battery change. When I replaced the battery in the smoke alarm in the noise and not stop I swear that was the most stressful 15 minutes of my life while I try to figure out WTF was going on.

Times like this I miss being able to just call maintenance to come fix it. Yay homeownership in newer stupid alarms that are hardwired to the unit.

OMG, This is the battery that was in the carbon monoxide detector. How is it just now beeping?! And yes, this obviously shows that I don't test this thing once a week or whatever like I'm supposed to.

There was definitely some cussing involved here when I replaced that battery and still heard noise. I heard two short beeps but nothing since the last message I posted. I think I might need to replace it It's probably been up there for more than 6 years which is apparently about how long they last.
