I fully agree that it's their duty, but there's only one problem, Robert: he hasn't been convicted of anything yet.

He was found liable in the E Jean Carroll defamation case. He has not been convicted of insurrection, yet.

The Jean Carroll case was a civil case. Liability is not the same as a criminal conviction, especially with regard to seditious conspiracy. Any attempt to use that case to restrict him from the ballot would be laughed out of court.
