As someone with a chronic, lifelong medical condition that cannot yet be cured, it REALLY sucks when doctors go, "Your [current] medication isn't giving you [those] side effects."

When they are directly listed AS side effects on the medication's official website.

It is beyond frustrating.

Of course, when you want to try a different medication that requires injections (every other month after an initial period) rather than take a pill that might be affecting your stomach, your insurance just up and goes, "LOL NO."

Even though it's cheaper in the long run.

I have had issues with medicaitons for this illness since I was diagnosed with it almost ten years ago. My current specialist(s) don't seem to care about that.

And, naturally, they're the only people in my area who will treat me for this.

Added onto this is the fact that there are additional side effects that affect my weight, my energy levels, etcetera, and it just makes my whole medical situation super frustrating.
