Very interesting! It struck me that the Sardinian singing style is a lot like Corsican polyphony which I'm a little familiar with. I love how different kinds of traditional music come together.

Same! And the Sardi singers traditionally sing inside caves (the sounds are really something) and the Mongolian folk singers traditionally sing atop mountains (again, sounds amazing) - and I love how they merge so beautifully together.
