Jordan Poyer's charity golf event was canceled after some spoke out against the Bills' safety holding it at trump course in Florida.

He and his sports agency were upset that people made it political, but how could it not be? A🧵

Jordan Poyer's sports agency, Avalon, tried to point the blame at others for creating division in their statement about the event's cancelation.

Yet neither Poyer or Avalon have spoken out against Trump or what DeSantis is doing in Florida, which is where the golf tournament was taking place. 2/4

Sports and politics have always had an intimate relationship. That can't be denied.

Unfortunately, Jordan Poyer found that out the hard way after his charity golf event was canceled due to pressure about holding it at Trump course in Florida. 3/4

"Regardless of the event’s good intentions, the pushback should have been predictable for it simultaneously benefits those who separate and incite hatred through their words and actions."

Jordan Poyer should blame the owner of the golf club. A man who continues to lie to and divide this country.✊🏾
