And holy crap, we're coming up on 17 years married in just a few weeks!!

Who else out there really truly loves AND LIKES their spouse/SO many years into the relationship?

Share your secrets for everyone 🙏

I've never been a hopeless romantic - good relationships need NURTURING, like a garden 🙌

My old joke about my husband/our marriage: "I knew he was 'the one' about 5 years into the marriage - cause we weren't sick of each other yet!"

Younger cousins & friends would ask "What's the secret? How are y'all so happy still?"

Partly dumb luck/partly we just really LIKE each other's company 💕

I am going on 34 years of marriage/ 36 together. We also work together everyday at our own business. People are amazed we don’t get sick of each other. I knew the day I met him he was my other half. We share common interests, laugh a lot & joke we can’t stand the same people. 😁

Now THAT’S impressive - I love my husband, but I can’t picture working with him 🤣

We have friends with this setup too, and it seems a lot trickier!

But cheers to y’all! Amazing! 🙌

Man this is a hard one for me. As I was with my soul mate but he passed away at 53 a couple years ago. True love is grand… cherish it.

Yesterday we celebrated 42 years. Communication, patience, and accept changes as they come. A good marriage...a happy marriage... doesn't just happen.

EXACTLY...

"Choose your battles" is another one I often think about... Doesn't matter if it's a husband or a roommate - anyone you live with for an extended period of time is going to annoy you sometimes...

As long as the annoying stuff isn't a pattern, ya gotta just let stuff slide sometimes 👍
