Remember that old saying “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”?

I kinda feel like that’s flipped a bit…

Men who can cook really have an edge in the dating market these days… it’s a very desirable talent 🤩

Teach your sons to cook! 👏👍

Internalized misogyny will have you telling other women to teach their daughters how to cook because your son likes to eat. Break the cycle, Sis. It will never benefit you and you don't get a pass because you're raising a son.

Also, teach him how to cook.

When I first met my husband and he invited me over the first time, he made grilled shrimp, steak, and roasted asparagus while I sipped wine and relaxed. Over a decade later, we take turns cooking for each other. It’s an act of love to nourish someone.

I love your story ❤️

It really is an act of love… “food is love” and “labor of love” are phrases that come to my mind ❤️

Also, I have a love-hate relationship with #cooking 🤣 so my cooking mantra has always been: I HATE cooking, but I LOVE feeding the people I love (myself included!)

I sealed the deal with soy-glazed skirt steak, whipped potatoes, sauteed green beans & a Triple Sec/Strawberry glazed vanilla bean ice cream for dessert.
They still make a GREAT salad . . . 32 years later!
