As I said with trump, impeachment is lovely, but without the option of removal by the Senate, Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh and company have no fear that their power will diminish. And, we can't impeach them now with a Republican House.

Calling SCOTUS illegitimate does not erase what they have done.

Unless they are impeached, the justices are here to stay.

The need for super majorities in both Legislative branches is the only assurance that we could deal as harshly as possible with any Republican malfeasance. But the idea of having 67 Democratic Senators seems far-fetched.

Expanding the court is just as slippery a slope. There would be nothing stopping the next opposition president doing the same thing. Then you've got an arms race.
