If I was Queen, I would insist on every American having a passport and using it at least once. Hopefully, in a country where English is a foreign language but those specific rules could be subject to debate.

Along the same lines, an idea in a book caught me. Everybody when they are born are citizens of their country of origin and one other with free travel until age 18 or 21 to the other country. Would give better perspectives imo.

Wow! Like the Aussies always have their kids go on a walkabout. I partied with those guys when I was on a walkabout. Hell, even the aristocrats would have their progeny do a world tour!

When I was turned away from Canada (Nephew is a thug; long story), I realized that every official address I had was in Minnesota. But I've seen Paris and Nice and Strasbourg, Brussels, Amsterdam, Milan and Rome, Oslo, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv.
Spain and Greece are still on the bucket list.
