If a law student submitted the majority opinion in 303 Creative on an exam, they would get an F.

There was no “injury in fact.”

Hence plaintiff lacked standing to sue.

It’s a coup. The Right is all-in on minority rule. They’re attempting to rewrite the Constitution, via a tilted SCOTUS that is reversing precedent. The very justices who frowned upon circumventing congressional authority, and its duty to legislate, now freely guts it in allegiance to RW ideologies.

They didn't exist. The entire thing was a pretend case study.

How was this case allowed then if it was only hypothetical?

So what recourse is there to deal with a completely bogus case?

Doesn't the Supreme Court prohibit hypothetical cases. Isn't this why the lower courts ruled against this case?

I feel like America is circling the drain some days.
I hope everyone who can vote, votes or it's going to be a mess that can't be reversed.
Vote blue and don't stop until the corrupt, fascist GOP are out.
They gave you this SCOTUS and Trump has promised more.

How did it get all the way to the Supreme Court? I don't get it. It sounds like it's a hypothetical, made up situation!

I don't understand how someone can sue for a purely imagined scenario and get that case heard by SCOTUS. Like...you can't sue the wind, or Santa Claus, or whatever, so how can a ruling be made on this?
