Costco morning buns are definitely worth getting a box or three.
We got a box yesterday, and went back to get two more boxes tonight. I put them in the freezer (individually tray freezing), so hopefully they'll last us awhile.

Taking a cooler to Costco for frozen items was a good idea. It is relatively cool, but still takes awhile to get through checkout, pack everything into the car, then haul it back out & put it all away.

I'll confess. The Pinterest ads got me. I ordered a bag of Crio Bru. Got the Highland Grogg blend and just started steeping a few minutes ago.
The bag smelled like heaven upon opening it. Am using my cold brew device. Fingers crossed for the morning!

Insanely irritated with a teammate today. Pulled the usual BS.
I called a meeting to explain a new process we're going to start.

Listening to a murder show, and it finally dawned on me - the police wait too long. Especially when the prime suspect is similar to them (usually a white male). "Police are baffled". 🙄 How many more murders could have been stopped if not for that bias?

Found out my mom's older sister is going into hospice care today. This is the part of being middle-aged that I hate the most. So much death. So many funerals.
I'm hoping my aunt has a peaceful, pain free passing. Advanced dementia and a broken hip last night. Sadness.

My wild ramps got delivered today! Super excited. Haven't seen them since before Covid.

New office chair arrived today. The last one arrived just as Covid was declared a pandemic.
It had a good run, but I found myself in increasing amounts of discomfort as the last few months went by.
Finally gave in & ordered a new one. Test sit was comfortable. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

Told him $750k. Haven't heard back. The house is allegedly valued ~$425k. I'm aware that's a ridiculous price

After bring horribly disappointed by the new 5qt Kitchen Aid compared to grandma's old machine, I bought the larger 7qt.
Then realized the 7qt is too large for most uses. Found a 5qt and a 3qt mini bowl that are for the bowl lift mixers.
Happiness! A sturdy mixer and multiple bowl sizes.

Fedex dropped off the Helio AirBroom 20 minutes ago.
Ordered it on a whim last week. It really works well for hard floors, especially if you have long hair.
Rather than bristles, it has a rubber edge. Flexible wand, great for getting into tight spots. Like under vanities and behind toilets.

In laws are finally having their elderly, very ill dog put down. He should have been put down at least 18 months, but FIL can be a dick.
I think it is cruel to prolong suffering. So we're going to have a somber weekend, between the dog funeral tomorrow and the gloomy weather. Seems fitting somehow.

OMG I am SO SICK of these "Whole Body" deodorant commercials. If you stink that bad constantly, perhaps a physician visit is in order.
Also, for those of us with oily skin, regular showering more frequently than 72 hours is a must do. Not optional, unless I want to sell grease to a merchant.

Had waffles & bacon for breakfast, then I started purging my closet. Since the garbage cart is getting full, going to take a break and use the heating pad. Shoulders still a bit sore from slinging luggage through airports on my trip last week.

After consuming yet more ceviche on my business trip this week, I was craving it again. I got VERY brave and bought an ahi tuna steak. I think the marinade is just about right. It is chilling in the back of the fridge now. I'm very excited to try it in a little bit!

I liked flying with United because they flat out TOLD people to use headphones and stop blasting speakers. Pretty sad that things have gotten this far. But I did appreciate the compliance. If only one person hadn't spent an entire 3 hour flight talking loudly to her companion. Discretion, please.
