I'm diabetic (Type 2) and only occasionally need insulin, but there are others for whom insulin is literally life-or-death. No one should need to take out a mortgage just to afford life-saving medicine. Period.

As the husband of one of many writers looking to see how this is resolved before moving to a new platform, I think they are looking for meaningful clarification of a policy that has been repeatedly weaponized against marginalized folks on other platforms. They are gun shy and looking for reassurance

If we assume that people who start difficult critical conversations act in bad faith, it is easier for hostile forces to coopt valid critique & drive a wedge between progressives. If we don't learn how to constructively engage with internal criticism, the right wing wins.

We are still working on fixing encrypted messages. We will also release an update that will make it easier to delete your account. Later this week, we will finally release a tablet-friendly version. There are also a few bugs that need squashing.
