We made a plan before the last election and it’s anxiety inducing but necessary! Especially if you are any of the out-groups. (Plan is still in place just in case.)

I live right next to Bessemer, Alabama and I honestly have heard nothing about high crime, not even from paranoid white people on NextDoor. What’s your source?

Check out The Descent of Woman, by Elaine Morgan. It takes on the male-centered evolution story and is a fascinating hypothesis about how humans evolved. https://www.amazon.com/Des...

I mix peanut butter powder with greek yogurt or skyr, and it’s a pretty good substitute for real peanut butter. Especially with sliced apples!

I recommend you get this in a bag; the stuff in the can as pictured gets hard and clumpy. I use this a lot - mix it in with the dry ingredients then add water in the quantity the recipe specifies for buttermilk. Great product!

Joe Walsh actually did apologize after a fashion. https://www.cnn.com/videos... Rick Wilson, never, because he really hasn’t changed his spots and is still a belligerent asshole.

I urge people to donate to their local funds! PP is great but the local clinics are critical as they continue to provide reproductive health care. I figure the millionaire philanthropists have PP’s back and so my monthly $$ goes to my community.

I have a Tramontina brand induction burner that I got at Costco and it came with a nice pan. I like it but it is a supplement to my gas cooktop. My main problem w/ induction is some cookware doesn’t work on it.

Not exactly a recipe, but a good old fashioned tomato sandwich always hits the spot! I use sliced French bread, garden tomatoes, and Duke’s mayonnaise. Time to get off social media and go make one 😋

I once looked into a group that was purportedly supporting firefighters. Their 990 (at Guidestar.org) showed about 10% of their funds going to programs. Everything else was fundraising. These groups are raising money to pay themselves and family members or friends. Makes it hard for real 501c3s.

I tend to see everything through the lens of radical feminism, but this kind of story just screams "toxic masculinity on a global scale" to me. Two dudes trying to prove whose is bigger, bringing more dudes along with them, and just burning it all down.

I went there with my mom on a trip to Victoria and the Olympic Peninsula a few years ago. It was a lot of fun, and Victoria is a really nice place to visit.

It is, and always has been, projection. (Standard disclaimer Not All) Men are emotional. Men are impulsive. Men don’t think through things. They just project all those characteristics on women to protect their perceived superiority.

I got these last year from Costco and put them in this little side yard that was useless otherwise. They were perfect for a few tomatoes and squash, which is basically what I grow. We have such good farmers markets, I don’t have to grow a lot for myself.

But, even if that IS what you did, you should be able to! It’s nobody’s business why or how or whether you want an abortion or how you feel about it. The GOP isn’t interested in whether you’re responsible, but just whether you are deciding instead of them deciding for you.

I did the same thing when I was going through a rough patch in my marriage and working off my anxiety with yard work. Lady Gaga just seemed to suit the mood. (We’re still together and I’m back to rock and roll but sometimes put on Lady Gaga Radio on Spotify.)
