So, I just had a wonderful sighting in my garden tonight. A hummingbird hawk moth came to visit my four-o'clock plants while I was dead-heading them. (No picture, sorry.) What a mesmerizing sight. #gardening

If you like okra, but have never grown burgundy okra, I highly recommend it. It is a beautiful plant with dark red stems and red veins in the leaves. The pods can be longer than Clemson spineless without developing a woody feel to them. The burgundy pods are long, thin, and delicious. #gardening

I put bug bags on my cantaloupes. If I don't get a ripe cantaloupe this year, I probably won't grow them again. I am ok with insects and birds getting 50% of my garden, but I have never gotten to eat ANY of these yummy melons. Bug bags are my last try. #gardening
