Speaking from my perspective as a white guy, I must admit that my time on Spoutible has made me #reconsider how different people experience the internet. I greatly appreciate all the women and others who are open about the abuse and harassment they experience. Men must do better.

I understand your wait-and-see posture. However, people using a platform, disappearing, and returning is common for new platforms. How long did it take you before you used Twitter regularly? It took me years, and the same is true with me using Facebook. People like you are the heart of Spoutible.

Had to make a toast to my son last might.
He left for Germany 11 years ago to play pro basketball. Got injured, almost died from Covid, lost his longtime girlfriend and his job.
But he toughed it out and has rebuilt his life. Just got a big promotion on his new job and is BAACK!
Proud of him.

Can we stop hurling the word dementia around as an insult? Dementia is a specific (often devastating) disease process.
