While I think this is a good thing in this instance, I'm not sure this is anything that can be duplicated. Even the article says it could make people entrench even more in "protection against outsiders." And administering the party drug Molly doesn't seem like a real solution to hate.

After Kamala Harris. Madame VP comes first. She's done the work, broken the ground, and it's her turn.

Banana, always first choice. Second would be cherry, then orange - never grape.

It is a great platform. The problem doesn't seem to be cbouzy though. It looks more like the guy you see in the mirror daily.

If you're coming here just to troll, you won't last long. Unlike the bird app, people have to follow the rules. If not, your time will be measured in Scaramuccis.

Unfortunately the high drama of incoherent leadership sells ads and draws in audience. I don't know what to do either.

I live in Washington. My Senators and Reps have been calling out people for years. So has my governor. I've seen Senators/Reps in other areas calling out people for some time. I've never in my memory heard "good people on both sides" from the Democratic leadership.

It's not the Dems saying all people are good. That "good people on both sides" business is all GOP. We've been calling them fascists, insurrectionists, liars, and just about every other name in the book. We don't assume they're all good people. We assume they're NOT.

The lies and misinformation are called out, instantly, repeatedly, loudly. The media doesn't focus on that. The media focuses on the drama of the GOP and dog whistles. That's not weakness in Dems, it's a fact of MSM.

I don't think we've traditionally been weak. I think traditionally we don't do illegal things to win. I don't want to "win at any cost," only to look back and see I've become what I was fighting against.

Very doubtful it would reduce animosity or extreme divides. Polarized voters will still think their guy was cheated, and blame it on ranked voting. I'm not convinced it's any better. We just need to vote, every time, every election.

I've owned a great grandson of Seattle Slew, worked with a rescue run by a former exercise jockey who knows many trainers and stables. She isn't down on racing, she still loves the sport. So do I.

Unless we get 60 seats, and no Dem holdouts, it isn't possible. Not all Dem Senators support this.

It was not a minority of white people voting GOP. 55% of white women voted GOP in 2020. Over 60% of white men voted GOP in 2020. That's the majority. Gerrymandering harms voters, but historically it doesn't harm WHITE voters. Let's be clear on that. The data is very easy to find.

I'm not okay with either. I'm especially not okay with displaying the bodies or videos of children being shot with an AR-15, where they are literally blown apart. That is unnecessary and obscene to do to the families, friends, and loved ones. I sympathize with the shooter's families also. Just no.

We got our boosters in school, lining up in the gym while the county health office sent nurses to make sure we got them. Nobody had the ability to opt out. If you missed school that day you had to bring a letter from your doctor saying he gave you the booster.
