Payment should come out of police pension funds and the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP - union that represents police officers) and NOT taxpayers. This would definitely make some officers hold each other accountable for their actions and behaviors.

I wonder if families of victims of mass shootings organized a class action civil suit, includeing NRA and any politician who has a pro AR agenda who publicly defended thier use after a mass shooting, if even possible, similar to tobacco lawsuit in the 90s, it might temper some of the propaganda. 🤔

I just googled Texas shooting to find a non pay-walled story. And the search came up with shootings by year. I haven't teared up over a shooting in awhile, but now I am. Why are we doing this? I don't understand. Why do people advocate for guns instead of victims? How is that Christ-like?
