It was right on the front porch. I knew it meant what it said, because it was well worn, which made one think many people had walked through that door. It was made of brown stiff straw. In black, clear as day, it said "Welcome", & when I walked through that door, I knew I was. #Spoutories #Familia

USDA says it's testing 🐄 ground beef 🥩 at retail stores to check whether it contains viral particles of H5N1 bird flu 🐦⬛🦠. The agency says it's confident meat is safe.

#Spoutories I love hiking in the woods. For many years we chased redwoods, waterfalls, lava flows, tufa, petroglyphs, geocaches. Now that my wife has mobility issues, I rarely go on long hikes. It doesn't feel safe to go alone. Not because of bears, but because of men. Bear attacks are #rare

Initially, I wanted to ignore the request. Responsibilities come first, so even the thought seemed less than wise. They were persistent, so I said I'd think it over. Out came my pros vs cons list. At the top of the cons list was regret. That alone made me #reconsider . #WorthIt #Spoutories
