I took my almost 11yo to see Haunted Mansion today. The movie was not bad. She loved it and we both laughed.
But the best moment for me was when she asked me who Lakeith Stanfield was and then said, “he’s very good looking!” I just smiled and said, “yes, yes he is.”

In honor of the passing of Paul Reubens, I showed my daughters a few episodes of Pee-Wee’s Playhouse. They thought it was weird and crazy and hilarious… because it is. Definitely holds up. Such a legend.

I’m a member of the “Buy Nothing” FB group for my town and I literally just gave away four whole pizzas that were leftover from my kid’s birthday party.

Does anyone else remember when Olay made in-shower body lotion? You put it on your skin, let it absorb, and then rinsed - like conditioner.
I loved that stuff. My skin was buttery soft. Why’d they discontinue it?
Sometimes I put conditioner on my legs after I shave for extra softness. So nice.

I was telling my Boomer Mom how Gen-X is the first generation in a LONG time whose adulthood is statistically worse than our parents’ adulthood was. She was stunned at that reality. It’s even worse for Millennials. No wonder we are all so burnt out.
