#truth Spoutible is void of the bots and the crazies. Harassment is not allowed on this app. I’ve ran across varying viewpoints on several topics but this app doesn’t have the mob mentality so there is very little if any bullying.

The enslaved who were forcibly brought to this country were not illiterate peasants. They were blacksmiths, artisans, teachers, doctors, farmers, etc.
They ALREADY possessed skills which the enslavers took full advantage of.

I haven’t been on in a minute but I still enjoy Spoutible. Twitter is dead and Thread for right now is void of all the crazies but something tells me to hold tight. The crazies will find a way to infiltrate Thread. Spoutible was built with integrity and community participation. It will endure!

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if you make your entire personal brand about the supposed threat of “wokeness” and go on a show to talk about “wokeness” and the host of the show asks you to define “woke” and you’re unable to do so, public mockery should be expected.

#AllAmericanHomecoming is so real to me. I attended SpelmanCollege in the 90’s and i literally had to figure out who I was. There were so many fabulous girls there that i couldn’t rely on being smart, popular and attractive to succeed, everyone there had a similar story. So I had to dig deep.

Now, I still love a a good cleanser and moisturizer and I apply retinol to most creams that go on my face but accepting growing older has allowed me to grow in my confidence and make peace with actions of my younger years. Cheers to growth! I’m still a little vain, but I’m working on that too!

Acceptance is such a transformative word. I’m referring to my own acceptance of being a middle aged black woman that loves so many things and doesn’t feel the same way about most things that I did in my younger years. For me, my 40’s have been a time of growth and reflection.
