As someone who lives in Florida, don't do it. Things are pretty rough here right now between housing prices, insurance, terrible public education, attacks on higher education, and just general right-wing nonsense.

I don't think we're getting each other here. I've said that ws atheists exist and must be addressed. I am also not discounting anyone's lived experience. I understand overall numbers don't discount individual experiences. However, you and OP are quoting numbers and I'm having trouble verifying them.

I'm having trouble finding studies on the number of atheists who are white supremacists. It's not helpful to just make up numbers based on feelings.

Like I said in my first response, every demographic has this issue. Baseball fans have a problem with ws. People who own dogs. Cats. Hamsters.

I'm aware of how insidious and widespread white supremacy is in the US and Europe, I'm even aware of prominent atheists who are openly or covertly white supremacists (JP and Richard Spencer come to mind). I'm trying to understand the reason for OP making that connection.

Like of course any time we encounter a white supremacist they need to be confronted with their BS, but the overwhelming majority of ws I encounter is from "christians"

I agree with you that essentially every demographic has white supremacists lurking somewhere. I'm trying to understand the connection between atheism and white supremacy though. This feels like an attempt to deflect attention away from how hard christianity pushes white supremacy in America.

It really does seem inefficient, my delivery estimate was between 2-6 pm and it's now almost 7. They were getting further away and I was afraid I was going to get put off until tomorrow, but it looks like they're heading back this way so... 🤞

They didn't have the decency to, you know, not do the interview in the first place. Expecting them to edit out the crap she said is expecting a lot.

I remember hearing Fear of a Black Planet in high school, that album was when I first started to become aware of the issues black communities faced.

My kids are in 1st and 2nd grade right now and I swear on everything I hold dear if either one of them comes home from school and tells me they weren't allowed to use the restroom, ESPECIALLY my daughter as she gets older, you will hear me yelling from the other side of the country.

People can delete and block what they want, but it doesn't change the truth. The DNC has written FL off as unwinnable and not worth fighting for, and those of us stuck here still fighting are paying the price.
