Similar experiences popped up at the onset of the pandemic with people I knew and worked with for decades. Work from home transitioned quickly to retirement to escape surprising toxicity. Even now, attempts to reconnect are strained when current standings on important issues are uncertain.

The intimacy of educational/religious settings attract predators. Daily reports reveal a predominance of abuse in both areas. This policy increases the chance of physical/emotional abuse, blocks therapy for other adolescent issues and denies a child's religious liberty. Kudos to the Chaplains
