Facebook is limiting reach of anything political, many of your friends may not have seen it. Muting has seemed drastic on my FB page. https://www.economist.com/...

Exactly. I love my country and want it to be the best it can be, not have to flee from it.

“Sword in the Stone” was my favorite childhood movie and then “The Once and Future King” one of my favorite books. I would have thought Sorkin would create a good new book on paper, so to speak, but…makes me sad.

If that's a serious question…verified users are limited to viewing at first 6000 tweets, later changed to 8,000; non-paying accounts to 600, then 800; and new non-paying accounts to 300, later 800. He has blamed AI programs scraping for content.

How does theater survive this? Opera? Dance? How do the arts in any way endure this small-minded terror at the spectrum of humanity?

Just as heart-rending, Dahl was scientifically specific about the caterpillar being neither male nor female, so of course the script uses non-gendered pronouns for that role. Which is an absolute affront to decency evidently. Tell God that, please. (continued)

…that is used to facilitate the payments, told employees Twitter hasn’t yet approved the payments. After I started asking around about this yesterday Twitter said it is “actively working” to get the money to the NGOs. Twitter was supposed to match these donations but that also has not yet happened.
