Where exactly? I walk there frequently and have never seen this. But it’s of course a large area and maybe my habitual paths just haven’t taken me to that spot!

Fantastic news and just in time — I gather they’re about to do away with blocking, so I have reached the endgame there.

It recently dawned on me that what they really want to overturn is the 1860 election. I wish they wouldn’t keep proving me right.

I stumbled on this piece a few weeks ago on a visit to the Met! It’s extraordinary. According to the info posted on-site, I gather it will ultimately be brought to LA to become a permanent installation somewhere (I think at a community center?), which made me happy.

Possibly my favorite film in the whole wide world, which my kids find really odd since I’m not a stoner.

I think that’s a great take, though I also find wilderness walks really are special at least for me. I feel like my walks in the woods basically kept me afloat during the Covid lockdown. (And your English is great, certainly better than my efforts in any other language - and I do try.)

I’m a city girl (Manhattan) who absolutely appreciates the mental health value of walks in the woods (most often the Northwoods and Ravine in Central Park, but leaving town for time in the country is great too). But I don’t think the idea that cities are bad for mental health holds up in the US.
