Judge Merchan explains in good detail, including difference of intent and motive. The jury must find intent or there was no crime. But prosecution did not have to prove any motive. To jury it does not matter WHY Trump committed this crime (election, wife, etc)

It was 6 hours including the breaks. Prosecution said 4 and half hours. This is poor time management, a small minus on otherwise excellent prosecution. But pretty flawless otherwise
