It was/is on my mind a lot, too, these days because I'm more active in forums and noticed that there seems to be a bit of an increase in a certain, strange type of toxicity that someone called "toxic positivity". I didn't write about that (yet) as I need to learn more, but it seems on the rise.

When I was more active in MMORPGs, I usually led my own guilds/kinships/etc, because I wanted to have a safe space and help others to enjoy the game and grow into the endgame content. I hope to get into that again soon :)

I'll probably write about gate-keeping in MMORPGs at some stage because that's a problem creating other problems, and the gate-keepers always end up complaining about not having enough people to run content (and they wonder why...)

Same, I had no idea. I thought it was like on other social media, that once you see your notifications, they're no longer highlighted. I don't think it's my job to take care of that. I only check new notifications.

He probably doesn't like that many users blocked him. Multiple times! And he still turns up on my feed. He must already have turned the block feature off for his own account. Definitely another reason to only visit Twitter now and then. If at all.

Yesterday, I wanted to reply to a Christian fanatic with very shitty views on women - but Twitter gave me a warning pop-up, telling me something along the lines of my tweet not being civil enough. Compared to the original tweet, my answer was far more civil. Weird stuff happening there.

I agree, I used to have lots of connections on Twitter, and it was great fun. But I think most of these connections have left - and much of what I see is ads, sponsored posts, and posts from people I don't even follow. Musk seems to think I want to see his tweets...

It would be great if Scotland would reintroduce wolves, too. There's been a lot of talk about it, but the hunting lobby is strong and has lots of political (corrupt) support, so it's probably not going to happen.

I know, but it doesn't change which time is shown under each spout. My location in settings is correct, but each spout shows a time that is probably some American time zone.

I'm never going to use Threads because it apparently doesn't allow you to use it on computers. I only do stuff on my computer, so apps that are for phones only will never get me as a user.

Did you play early access? It was so much fun, and I'm looking forward to making a proper character now without making the questionable decisions I made in early access. I probably can't play on the release date though because rural internet will take a day to download 150gigs. :(

I guess it's like grades in the English school system, where A is the best and F the worst. Maybe this would be better as a hidden feature, and once you get too bad, you get warning and/or a suspension. I'm notsure I like the public grading even if my A rating probably won't change.

I was wondering what the "A" was for. It seems like the changes on this platform are pretty random, and if you're just a normal user, you also don't see info on why these changes happen. At least I don't. I honestly feel a little weird being "marked" like that.

Dogs are so much more loyal than people. They accept your attention without looking for ulterior motives. They give attention without having ulterior motives. And they're a good reason to get out into nature for peaceful walks. So much better than most humans!

Ah, someone else who likes Steam sales. I bought a few games in the summer sale and am "working" my way through them. I returned some because if I can't get into a game within 2 hours, there's no point. I love that Steam has that option! I might try Mass Effect at some stage.

I don't have strong feelings about the replacement; it's up to him to prove he's up for the job. I also never thought "Superman" could possibly be a good Geralt and was positively surprised!

I also don't like first-person games. I'm waiting for Baldur's Gate 3; I enjoyed the early access. It's a fun game! I'm going to try Disco Elysium because everyone says it's great. I'm sceptical, but we'll see. Fortunately, Steam has a good refund policy!

I have to admit I never played any of the Diablo games even though I probably should because I love RPGs. I just never felt drawn to Diablo, not sure why.
