I’m sure you would find similar connections with any other non-Republicans running against President Biden ie Cornel West and Marianne Williamson.

Green beans, tomatoes, and okra. Waiting on a cucumber to ripen as well. ☺️ Things are growing slowly, but hopefully will pick up soon!

4. Districts gets paid based on the number of students. Principals get paid based on the number of students. Teachers are the ones carrying the load for the number of students with whom they work with, and guess whose pay doesn’t change based on the number of students they are responsible for?

3. We have parents complaining about their kids not getting recess (4th and 5th Grade) but we can’t explain to them that they aren’t even getting the state required minutes for core subjects because of all of the extras that we do that aren’t mandated and aren’t developmentally appropriate!

My initial thoughts are, they don’t really want to fix public education. They want to incapacitate it so far to only offer privatization as the solution.

While many of the virtues that she held in her every day life didn’t align to the political ideology of the GOP, she only knew to vote R. She literally voted against her and mine and my brother’s interest every time, unknowingly. If she hadn’t been fed the narrative, she never would have.

This is on my list to read and I thank you for sharing these excerpts. My mother inherited her devotion to the GOP in the state of Alabama and it contributed greatly to her death in October of this past year.
