I would go a step further and say that those choosing not to corporate do so with perverse glee, as if social unrest leading to large scale violence is the ultimate goal. Each and every safeguard that we have depended on for decades are under attack or have fallen.

As I understand it, the gift was in offering them the opportunity to choose a home to lease as oppose to being told where they would reside. The cottage and land was not deeded to them but it was theirs for however long they wanted it. This is no longer the case.
