No one ever mentions that there are no Affirmative Action (AA) exams or AA grading guidelines in college. I'm a professor so I know: Even if we got in via AA, we didn't PASS or GRADUATE because of it. We had what it took to go there or ALL of us would have flunked. White supremacy is STILL a lie.

Mass shootings don't happen in other developed countries. The few times they did, automatic weapons were banned. People don't walk around armed - it's illegal. NONE of us think about guns. This bloodthirstiness, killing psychosis, this primitive obsession with phallic symbols is uniquely American.

I don't know how the rest of you feel, but I'm in Mamma Bear mode rn and I don't like seeing @cbouzy taking all this abuse today. He put out the ? to the community and we voted. He's standing by our vote and in return we should all have his back and not stand for the abuse

I have never been on a social media platform where people join and immediately start demanding that the CEO allow them to rewrite the terms of service. Where's that fire for Musk, or the CEO of Telegram, or Truth Social? That takes a whole heap of arrogance and entitlement.

Something I've observed in my colleagues (I have no idea if this is representative). Vast majority of my white colleagues seem to think/act as if pandemic is over. On the other hand, POC colleagues more likely to still mask, not attend crowded dinners etc.
