Actually there is preventative. It can be prescribed after cancerous growths and cells are removed and as a precautionary route or an additional round of chemotherapy to be sure and prevent. We went through it with my husband.

I am a Cancer patient and have had Chemo as a primary medication.
There different types of Cancer, Breast Cancer for example. Chemotherapy and radiation treatments AFTER surgery.

The worst part of prep was being hangry the day before & not being prepared for feeling cold during (I wound up throwing on a toque). The anaesthesia guy said it happens because so much fluid is going in & suggested alternating w/warm chicken broth.

Hubster had eye surgery in Madison today. One of the worst drives of my life as it was snowing incredibly hard at 5:45 this morning. Dark plus hypnotic snow made the drive incredibly stressful. Got there in one piece, surgery went well, and the drive home was much better. About 6”+ of wet snow.
