I seem to recall their governor doing something sorta similar. "Hi I'm a Democrat!" *Wins* "Hi I'm a Republican now!"

Nah, I feel you. If there was a really solid substitute I'd probably have left, too, but I was unable to find a near-equivalent platform. Plus, fighting them where they are is the best way to contest them.

Even if management makes a buck. :/

Belated thanks for the feedback! :) Ultimately, we've decided to fight the bastards on the platform they're at, rather than cede the battleground.

Hope the holidays are treating you well.

I dunno. I think I'm gonna let episodes of S2 build up while I watch Gen V and other stuff. That way, when it gets later in the season, I can binge it all and not get into that week-to-week forgot-what-happenedness.

I believe this information came up as part of their plan to buy Activision-Blizzard, so it's recent enough to be reasonably part of their medium-to-long-term plans.

I just doubt it'll ever happen.

Hmm! Well I certainly dislike when big cartels push people off their farmland. There are definitely problems with how legalization has been rolled out, and one of them has been the megacorporatization of cannabis.

That's definitely a concern, I don't want anyone pushed off their ancestral lands, but I'm honestly not very aware of what specific situations you're talking about, other than what Google tells me.

If you have a specific link/source, I can include it in follow-up articles?

Well, then, I'm not really sure what you're critiquing?

I made my proposed choice of action clear, and explained all options to readers who wouldn't necessarily know about them. I most definitely addressed all three branches and what concerns these various actions would raise.

Because you certainly didn't raise counterpoints to *anything* I said in my article.

I suspect you didn't even read it.

Haha yeah. There's a weird thing where any use of the platform will generate at least some points on the percentage, and thus create some kind of impression or another. "Oh, this account is Normal, but just BARELY normal."

I try to ignore it, but that's hard for many.

Huh. I think we might agree that it should just be "normal" or "abnormal," versus a specific score?

Although I guess our presence here at all is a tacit endorsement of the site? Or, at least, a willingness to be mildly present, even if it's just promotional/claim-staking?

I think it's some kind of measurement of how positive/negative you are, with lower percentages being better.

That said, I'm not a huge fan of a percentage system judging such things, but, whatever. *Shrug*

Definite agreement. And, TBH, there's more than one that's almost-certainly-guilty of war crimes. I recently wrote an article involving Abu Gharib & other U.S. crimes.

That's not to say we're close to what Russia's doing - far from it! But...It's not too long ago, either.

Good point.

I dunno, I might just be mixing them up with someone else (?), but I'm pretty sure I remember them having significant rare earth element deposits. Since that's gonna be a critical resource, I put them on the shortlist.

Fair disclaimer: I'm not a U.N. specialist.

I don't think there should be permanent members. Even if I did, I'd think there should be more than five.

But what really bugs me is the veto power that the current five countries have. Nothing can get done, all crimes on the table.

It all depends. I can see it being challenged in court. What the courts do is hard to predict these days, but ultimately the question is whether a state has the right to organize its own elections system, which...Theoretically it does.

If you mean permanent members, none. There shouldn't *be* permanent members, at least w/vetos.

If you mean temporary members? I'm not a specialist by any stretch, I guess I'd suggest Zimbabwe, Namibia, Egypt, Morocco, Madagascar or Tanzania.

Maybe two or more.

Welp, since they can write the laws, and have probably captured all of the courts that have jurisdiction, they can basically just...Do it. It's wild.

I suspect the intended interpretation is that Franklin's discovery was simply an act of a Divine power that sent angels or whatever to make sure he did what he was supposed to. :)

It takes the idea out of Human hands, which sucks.
