OTP fails 189-195 (yay), but it's not dead yet... 😑Tabled 193-192. Could come back up anytime Rs have an attendance advantage over the next two days, and also keeps the topic alive for next year. 🧟🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️ Hope we get an edge at some point and can kill it for real.

Big day in the NH House... Starting with HB 10, the parent authoritarianism/forced outing bill, into big Ed. bills, repro bills, and more. Expecting to be in session until 7 tonight and potentially longer tomorrow. LFG! #NHPolitics

Almost noon and we are still on the Criminal Justice bills. These alphabetically blessed committees really need to go ve more succinct speeches 🤪

At least I still have the best seat in the House. Right next to the air purifier and the emergency exit... AND the floor bebe. 🥰

From CAP Action. This is it in a nutshell. "Government overreach is bad, unless of course we are doing it."

Grim numbers in the NH House today -- in theory we are about evenly split, but Rs seem to have a big attendance edge today. Leadership must have cracked the whip like Indiana Jones after they lost a couple bills last session day. Bummer for the state.

That’s right, as of last Thursday Tom Holland’s Umbrella performance (or anything viewed as a “drag” performance) is illegal in Tennessee. As it will likely soon be in several other red states. Fascism is spreading faster than most people realize.

This is wild -- and apparently old news! Why aren't we cleaning the air everywhere?

ST&E Republicans just voted to spend $25,000 taxpayer dollars to study withdrawing from the New England grid. It would be funny if it wasn't dangerously stupid... #NHPolitics

Several really important ST&E bills on the floor today (and at the beginning of the day, which is rare for our alphabetically challenged committee!) Should we double down on our losing strategy of gutting our energy efficiency and diversification programs? GOP says yes... 🤷‍♀️ #NHPolitics

When you're a week out from ankle surgery but the House is split 201-198 and every vote counts 🤷‍♀️ #NHPolitics

Legislating with a broken ankle is something else. Missing another committee day on Monday for a follow-up/cast application (🤞) but looking forward to session day on Tuesday.

Picked the worst possible time for a broken ankle. Had to miss our votes in the House last week, and listening in to our ST&E hearings on YouTube just isn't the same...
