Your point is well taken. I was fortunate enough to have stumbled upon Heather Cox Richardson's Letters from an American a couple of years ago. She reminded me about changes that took place in the political parties over the years. Context/historical events always needs to be considered.

That's disgusting! People don't just "transition" without consultation and approval from various medical and psychological professionals. What right does the gov't have to overrule their conclusions & recommendations. Someone should sue them gross negligence. https://www.law.cornell.ed...

While it's true that some ppl don't know or care, I think the answer to your question of why ppl didn't do anything in 1930-40s Germany is because everything Hitler did was legal. Same here in the U.S. 2016-2023. There are no laws against being a disgusting person. It's frustrating & upsetting.

That is true up to a point. I can't vote in GA, FL, TX, or any other red state, so I can't affect the outcome of their elections. Consequently, it's possible that I - and many others - do end up with a government we don't deserve. It's definitely maddening.

Good. I'm glad that SOMEONE is suing these people who are signing ridiculous laws. I wonder how many banned books Ms. Sanders read as a youngster. If she had any kind of education at all, she read a few. If not, then the value of her "education" is questionable.

Here's the correct link to the War Department's 1945 letter called Fascism!

My apologies. I just realized the link the 1945 pamphlet issued by the War Department about Fascism doesn't work for some reason. I was able to see the document through a link Cox Richardson provided in her Letter, so you might want to try to go in that way. Sorry.

Good. Now we just have to pray that a repugnacan doesn't get elected anytime in the near future. We know where that ends...criminals get let off the hook.

Hopefully, businesses will start recognizing how bad he's making things and will stop supporting Florida's tourism industry. Ppl have to start feeling the pinch of losing economic support before they'll stop backing that fascist dictator.

I wondered about using coffee grounds. I use reusable k-cups for my coffee and empty the grounds into a small pail. I've been scattering them on my back lawn, but I'm not seeing much change in the lawn - or should I say, my field of weeds! 🤔

Jamie Raskin looks very worn out in this photo. I understand why. I'm just saying chemo can sure knock the wind out of your sails. Sending positive thoughts for your comfort, endurance, and healing, Mr. Raskin.

I will never understand how this guy managed to get this far under false pretenses at every turn. And then, when it was discovered what a fraud he is, was still allowed to take a seat in Congress. smh At least Santos' indictment was faster than tfg's.

How do they get away with this stuff? Seems like "protesting" doesn't work all that well when your "leaders" are authoritarian fascists. 😡
