Nationally, according to the Murder Accountability Project, white victims have an 81% solve rate for their homicides. For Black victims it's just over 50%. It's the lowest solve rate of any race or ethnicity. Location doesn't matter, it's urban, rural, suburban, cities, towns, counties.

International #PlasticBagFreeDay is today. Plastic bags are convenient but they're bad for the environment. They take years to break down, and we should all reduce our reliance on them.

In 1869, Congress set the number of Supreme Court Justices at 9 — because there were 9 circuits at the time.

Today, there are 13 circuits.

Even more infuriating, when the Senate questions Supreme Court candidates and confronts them with a hypothetical situation, they ALL say the same thing: I won't comment on a hypothetical.

Well, the same assholes just RULED on a hypothetical.

When Colonel Tom Parker saw Elvis, he knew he'd uncovered a gold mine because he'd found a White artist who could perform reasonably in a "Black style." By 1956 #Elvis reached stratospheric heights singing Black music—a level of fame that Black performers of that time could only dream of. {#id:395180#}

Judge Jackson recusing herself from the Harvard AA case despite zero financial benefit to staying on and Alito, Thomas, & Barrett refusing to recuse from numerous cases where they gained major financial benefit, perfectly summarizes progressive principles and conservative corruption

In the near future maybe, but not long-term. If Elon didn't severely restrict API access, companies wouldn't have to scrape the data. We will have public API endpoints soon, that would make scraping pointless.
Anwar Edwards @JusticeBeaver
Will this site also have to contend with data scraping issues due to companies using ai to gather data?
