Yep, my typing teacher in high school was Mr. Curato. I can still hear his voice when doing our timed test... "one, two, begin!".
I'm ancient, so these were mechanical typewriters where the keys can get stuck... 😀

Good Morning on this, another beautiful Autumn day.
I am back inside for a cuppa, though Kid1 did deliver a freshly brewed coffee to me over in the garden a couple of hours ago.
Today is going to be #NewsFreeDay .
When my "mood" is not so easily knocked about, I will risk it again.

We headed out in our mini-van with the three offspring pulling a tent trailer behind. Brian, my husband, painted "Bonavista or bust" on the spare tire cover. Three weeks, 5 provinces, and 4 states later we arrived home from the best family holiday ever! And, yes, we did get to Bonavista! #Spoutories

1974 #Roadtrip in a white GM van we'd dubbed Nanook. Park designer hubby at meeting in ranger office. Baby asleep. Me reading, sipping coffee, waiting. Nature called. Tried porta toilet in van. It collapsed under me, fell against door. Door opened, pitching me & toilet out. Windows! Faces! Pants! 😲

And then there's The Rise of Skywalker, which is.... very average (the title sucks too) and an object lesson in why you shouldn't tailor your movies to the opinions of angry internet nerds. Plus it climaxes with the most tired film fantasy trope (hero & villain shooting lightning at each other).

I enjoyed The Last Jedi too, but on a different level - because it thwarted expectations at every turn and actually had a message for the audience - that your bloodline is not what makes you a hero, and that there is a difference between heroism and leadership.

Celebrated #MayThe4thBeWithYou with a rewatch of The Force Awakens and reminding myself much I enjoyed first seeing it nine years ago. Mainly because it was fun - F-U-N - in a way the prequels hadn't been. Even Harrison Ford seemed like he was enjoying himself.

Well the #leafs lost in overtime tonight. I missed most of it cuz I was at a concert. Got home just in time to watch Pastrnak end it in overtime.
It was a weird season. I hope Keefe comes back, he's shown he can get this team to play tight in the playoffs.
