We used to live in Tarrytown and I can't even imagine the impact this will have on tens of millions of people, water supply, let alone the rest of the ecosystem.

Kids are a primary source of transmission. In a setting where there are infants and toddlers who cannot be vaccinated or mask it is on us to protect them by masking ourselves and our older kids.

I know people want to forget how scary things actually are, pretend it's no big deal, but we are only furthering the harms being done.

You know what, she would 😂 we generally have a family tradition of bringing people in who need family. My dad's a good guy, lots of good works for bringing safe water to rural communities in TN but he drank the red Kool aid 😬 mixed bag, unfortunately

And it's widening outward as we seek alternatives. I've been seeing some folks with long COVID are also being prescribed stimulants for the brain issues, which makes sense given that they seem to have ADHD-like symptoms, but what are the rest of us supposed to do when usage ☝️ but supply 👇

American history seems to cycle into the snake oil/evangelism/religious extremes when there are moments of change & upheaval. Thinking in particular of the post Civil War tent revivals and traveling salesman hawking miracles, and the rise of Christian Fundamentalism during the push for Civil Rights

Signups the first day didn't open until noon EST so west coasters didn't have to be up super early to try and grab handles. Not sure if that's the case today, too.

When I registered the first day, it wasn't open until noon EST to give a fair chance to people on the west coast to grab handles. Thinking that may be the case still.
