UK is still a bin fire thanks to 13 years of the most woeful Trumpesque like government. And brexit. What a disaster that has been

We have local elections soon in the UK, This will give us a good indication if we are finally going to be rid of the Tories who are every bit as bad as the GOP

Any hope Rishi Sunak had of looking like an international statesman have been sunk by his crazy campaign on small boats. He's adrift without an anchor, all at sea with his right wing backers

The Tory Party will never stop its infighting. It has too many well established factions who patently disagree on the fundamentals to allow any kind of peace to break out permanently.

Today's Telegraph reveals just how useless our lying Tory government is.

They only care about optics.
Matt Hancock lied people died.

Watching closely the politics of the UK's gradual retreat from Brexit and its painfully slow realisation that it needs to be back in the EU. But will it come in time to restore freedom of movement and my retirement in France? Probably not.

Is the ERG going to split? I can sense they are waiting for Fatty Johnson to make his next statement before they condemn Sunak's deal

Sunak is facing down the ERG and brexiters for a sensible compromise with EU. Expect extensive bleating to commence from the impossible to please right wingers

I am kindly asking those of you who are trashing this site and @cbouzy to STOP. The majority of us want to keep this platform friendly and free of hostility.

If you don't like it here, and/or, have issues with Chris, then leave. Go back to the toxic dumpster fire, aka Twitter. ✌️

Biden took a secret 10-hour train ride from Poland to make a surprise visit to Zelensky in Kyiv.

This is the ultimate 🖕to Putin on the one-year anniversary of the invasion.

Nice to have a badass POTUS in aviators actively backing democracy over autocracy…

Really good day's birding at Abberton Reservoir in Essex. Highlights including good views of a perching barn owl. A great egret, a black-necked grebe, 3 ruff, 7 Bewick swans. Huge flocks of lapwing, pochard and mixed gulls. Good numbers of teal and wigeon
