I may not have been clear what has now been proven in a criminal court by testimony and evidence. This is excellent summary. This is why McConney testimony establishes Trump's guilt in the COVERUP part of the crime - which turnes accounting misdemeanor (pay fine) into felony crime with prison time

DA team played cunning gamble on Jeff McConney testimony. DA did NOT ask McConney about being kept in the dark, in the first session ('direct' questioning). It was the most damaging testimony. They left it for 'redirect'. And DA gambled, Trump team will 'cross-examine' Jeff, which leads to redirect
