I'm fine with Kennedy running a 3rd party campaign.

This is not an election between left and right, it's an election bretween sane and crazy.

Anything that splits the crazy vote is good news.

The NY Times three rules of modern journalism:

1. Access to our pages is for the rich and powerful. Marginalized people not allowed.
2. It is not our job to point out the difference between truth and lies.
3. If you lie to us once, we will invite you to do so again. For the clicks.

i love this song, but it's a little weird when you remember Stevie Womder is a Christian.

When you believe in things
That you don't understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition aint the way

The flip side is this: because Biden's administration is scandal and drama free, it provides them with none of the excitement they crave. So they manufacture BS about his age and his son to feed their own needs.

Some the most articulate and compassionate voices of a new generation came out of this tragedy. Young people who spoke up for sensible gun control in the face of hatred and lies. Their courage and their strong sense of right and wrong should be an inspiration to us all.

Turn to for what, I guess?

For answers, I turn to science and reason.

For ethical guidance, I turn to great philosophers and to humanist principle.

For comfort, I turn to friends, also to my conscience.

Is that what you meant?

Does Donald Trump look like Elvis? Obviously, there's no similarity.

Does Trump look like Elvis would look if he'd lived (he'd be 89)? Almost certainly not.

Does Trump look the way Elvis would look now if we dug him up after 46 years in the dirt? Possible. But I bet dead Elvis smells better.

But if I did, you could trust to tell the truth precisely as much as you would trust anyone else.

There's no evidence he said this, and the image has been shown to be doctored.

When we use fake evidence, it makes it seems like there's no real evidence. (like when the GOP keeps manufacturing bullshit against Biden). It doesn't help our case.

I guess you have to decide which is more likely: that Isaacson was mistaken the first time, or that he came under pressure from Musk to change his story. All things considered, the latter seems at least as likely as the former.
