They’re getting pretty good with this new look design for the covers. I like it. Even if it messes with my uniform bookshelf.

I know! His size makes him look older, but he's a few weeks younger.

Yes, I've noticed with the recent few books they've started shifting away from the classic design. I do like the fresh take even if as a book collector I'd prefer a more uniformed look for my bookshelves.

She has the longest eyebrow whiskers I've ever seen on a cat. Not even 1 years old yet too.

Right now with Jack and Tilly, the springs are their favorite toy.

Those little rascals have been playing (and losing, needing me to find) their spring toys. Tilly has started meowing softly to get my attention. It's so cute.

The drive back and forth from the airport was pleasant. Hardly any traffic. Dealing with the insurance company was definitely the worst of it. Thankfully, I'm getting rewarded with a nice home cooked teriyaki salmon dinner tonight.

I await a home cooked meal of teriyaki salmon for dinner, and then some vegging out in front of the TV watching some episodes of Agatha Christie's Poirot starring David Suchet.

I'm amazed my cats (both still under 1) aren't freaking out at the Ringwraith screech.

So far they've been relatively good. Besides the nibbling at lower branches, once, before we decorated it, Jack knocked it over, and that seemed to have traumatized him enough to not attempt stretching up from the couch to reach for higher branches.

They had a handful on the front counter when we entered the shop, and then I saw them again around the store, and I just couldn't resist. I had to have one.

I still need to read ENCORE IN DEATH, but that's okay, as I haven't yet bought PAYBACK. I'm currently juggling reading three books, and I want to cut that down before I start in on any other books.

I enjoy it. It's silly and fun, but at its heart it's still Star Trek, and made by those that love Trek. Provides a nice 20 minutes of entertainment. Plus I love all the little Easter Eggs.

Definitely helps to have a parent who is a fan. My Mom was a fan of TOS and TNG, so that's why VOY became a show the family watched together. She even let my brother and I stay up past our bedtime to watch "Caretaker" live.

Voyager was the first Trek show I watched live from pilot to finale, so I was already a fan of Star Trek in general, but it was during Enterprise’s run that my love of Trek was cemented and I knew I’d be a lifelong Star Trek fan. First Star Trek action figure I ever got was Captain Archer.

That's the funny thing with Jack and Tilly, according to the shelter, Tilly is a week or 2 older, but Jack is so much bigger than she is. We're thinking the shelter might be mistaken about their ages. Though, Jack was house born, while Tilly was born to a stray.

Same. And it was the novelization of First Contact. This is the first Star Trek audiobook I've listened to in a long time. And I'm liking it. Since it's written in first person, it really works having Andrew J. Robinson reading it. You get all of Garak's inflections and speech mannerisms.

At first she was like who’s this intruder. But after 3 days of getting reacquainted, they’re back to how they were before the forced separation. Just a little while ago, I found her giving Jack a wash.

I debating going as LordofKavaka over here too, but I've used raptorimperator for ages as my XBOX gamertag, on Discord, and other places, and it fits more along the lines of my love of Jurassic Park and my Ancient Rome history degree.
