What could explain the correlation between armed guards at schools and higher deaths?
Perhaps schools with armed guards tend to be in states with more lax gun restrictions? And/or with strong gun cultures? Or that a mass shooter arms himself more heavily knowing that there are armed guards?

Horrified to just learn about the Nashville mass shooting. I taught con law this morning and discussed the Bruen 2nd Amendment case. I posed a question about a hypothetical ban of the AR-15, and whether SCOTUS would strike it down.

I’m going to say it: DeSantis is a greater threat to democracy than Trump, because he is an authoritarian ideologue with discipline.
He is on the verge of turning colleges in FL into political indoctrination arms of the white nationalist state.
