Hawkeye might be my favorite MCU thing at this point. After rewatching I'm just struck by how tightly paced it is, how charming and endearing. Echo is a great character, Clint is actually good, Yelena is dynamite, Kate Bishop is INCREDIBLE.

Been catching up on horror and thriller movies last couple weeks. Latest watch was "Mother!" which I went in totally unaware of anything it was actually about, and hoo boy that took me for a biblical ride I wasn't ready for. Jennifer Lawrence was BREATHTAKING and Bardem was occasionally terrifying.

Now I've watched "It Follows" so I guess you could say I'm on a horror binge right now. I found the sound and music editing, and cinematography to be a little wonky, but it contributed to a dreamy quality that made me love it a lot. Sad I missed it when it was new.

Watched The Thing (2011) and I gotta say, it's not as bad as all the stuff I heard about it. Much like the originally maligned The Thing (1982), I expect it will enjoy more praise long after the fact.

Disappointing but not unexpected on the 2nd question. Since it seems Bouzy is approaching this platform somewhat democratically, it'll be interesting to see if things change in the future if people begin asking for it a lot, prompting new surveys.

Last night at work I was shuffling a stack of boxes with my foot and my ankle POPPED so hard and painfully, I thought I broke it for a minute.
