COVID wastewater trends look like 3-and-a-half time *higher* COVID levels than at this point in 2021 or 2022, using biobot.io.

For contrast COVID new case reporting looks about 50% *lower* with 34K this year compared to 69K in 2021 and 2022, using NYTimes.

Could long-COVID be catching fewer people? CDC's Household Pulse Survey uses a simple/too simple definition of symptoms lasting more than 3 months, and recently shows little growth in the group reporting that kind of harm.

COVID low points in the USA are all ancient history now, using NYTimes charts:
• 4/14/21 for hospitalizations
• 4/21/21 for intensive care units
• 6/17/21 for test positivity
• 6/21/21 for cases
• 7/11/21 for deaths

We are not shutting this down. Even our frayed data collection shows that.

USA COVID growth? And long Covid trends? Here's CDC survey data:
• 53.8% say they've had it (not "everyone")
• Big jump from 40.3% last June 2022 (not over).
• Long COVID not rising as fast as cases could be good news.

The full data set is at https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/c...
